Spiders pest control

Why get rid of SPIDERS?

Fear and Phobia: Many people have a fear of spiders, known as arachnophobia. The presence of spiders can cause significant distress, anxiety, and discomfort for people with this fear. Removing spiders from your premises can provide a more relaxed living or working environment.

Safety Concerns: While most spiders are harmless, some species such as the katipo, white tail and red back spider, can deliver bites that result in pain, swelling, and, in rare cases, more severe reactions. Removing venomous spiders from your premises reduces the risk of bites and potential health complications.

Allergies and Asthma: Some individuals may be allergic to spider bites or their venom, experiencing allergic reactions or respiratory issues or even death. Removing spiders can help minimize the risk of allergic reactions and alleviate symptoms for individuals with allergies or asthma.

Hygiene and Aesthetics: Spiders can leave webs in visible areas, which can be unsightly and create a sense of uncleanliness. Regular removal of spider webs helps maintain a clean and visually appealing environment.

Prevention of Other Pests: Spiders are predatory creatures that feed on insects and other small pests. While they can be beneficial in controlling populations of other pests, their presence may indicate an underlying pest problem. By addressing and eliminating spiders, you can also address the root cause of the pest issue and prevent potential infestations of other insects.

It's important to note that not all spiders in New Zealand are harmful or pose a threat to humans.
