RODENT CONTROL
RODENT TREATMENT
Bait Stations, Snap Traps and Inspection Reports
We begin with a full assessment and inspection report, identifying entry points and providing housekeeping and proofing recommendations to eliminate rats and mice and reduce the risk of future infestations.
Following the inspection, we install bait stations or snap traps to effectively remove mice and rats from your property.
Please note: bait stations remain the property of Bug Doctor and are on loan for your safety.
Regular checks are essential to keep the stations effective and prevent pests from breeding between visits. For this reason, we recommend a service at least every three months.
Bait Station Removal
An additional charge will apply for the final visit to remove bait stations. This fee includes:
-
travel to the site
-
inspection and assessment
-
removal of all bait stations
-
safe disposal of bait (if required)

Why get rid of RODENTS?
Health Risks: Rodents can carry and transmit various diseases, including Hantavirus, salmonellosis, leptospirosis, and rat-bite fever. These diseases can be harmful to humans and pets, posing a significant health risk. Eliminating rodents reduces the chance of disease transmission and helps maintain a healthy living or working environment.
Property Damage: Rodents have strong teeth that continuously grow, leading them to gnaw on various materials to keep their teeth trimmed. This gnawing behaviour can cause damage to structures, electrical wires, insulation, and pipes, leading to potential safety hazards, costly repairs, and fire risks.
Contamination of Food and Supplies: Rodents are known for their ability to contaminate food storage areas, pantries, and crops. Their faeces, urine, and hair can contaminate food and result in foodborne illnesses. Additionally, they may chew through packaging, leading to further contamination and financial losses.
Allergies and Asthma: Rodent faeces and urine can trigger allergic reactions and worsen symptoms for individuals with allergies or asthma. Airborne particles from rodent infestations can contribute to indoor air pollution, affecting the respiratory health of occupants.
Structural Integrity: Rodents, particularly rats, are capable of burrowing and nesting in buildings and foundations. Over time, their activities can compromise the structural integrity of the property, leading to weakened foundations, tunnels, and damage to walls or floors.
Reputation and Business Impact: If you are a business owner, a rodent infestation can significantly damage your reputation and affect customer trust. Restaurants, hotels, and food establishments are at risk of negative reviews, decreased patronage, and potential legal consequences if proper pest control measures are not in place.
By taking proactive measures to eliminate rodents, you can prevent property damage and maintain hygiene standards.
