Pre-Treatment Customer Guidelines

Remove Clutter: Clear surfaces such as countertops, floors, kitchen cupboards (German cockroach treatment only) and under furniture to allow easy access to areas where pests may be hiding, such as cracks and crevices. Put away toothbrushes, shavers and any other grooming or beauty products.

Move Furniture: Move furniture away from walls and corners to ensure the technician can access skirting boards, corners, and other hidden areas.

Remove Bedding and Linens: If you are having a bed bug or flea treatment, remove all bedding, linens, and personal items from affected areas (e.g., beds, sofas).

Vacuum: Vacuum the areas to be treated, especially if the service involves a treatment for fleas, or bedbugs. This helps reduce the number of pests and their eggs before the treatment begins.

Keep children and pets away: Remove pet bowls and ensure that children and pets are kept away from treated areas during and for a period after the treatment for at least a few hours.

Turn Off Air Conditioners and Heaters: If possible, turn off your air conditioning or heating systems before the treatment to prevent the spread of chemicals through the vents.

Provide Access to Infested Areas: Ensure that our technician has access to all infested areas, including hidden spaces such as attics, basements, crawl spaces, cabinets, and behind appliances.

Unlock Doors and Gates: Make sure gates or doors that provide access to the interior of the home are unlocked for our pest control technicians.

Post-Treatment Customer Guidelines

Re-Entry Time: After any chemical treatment, please avoid entering the treated areas for 2–4 hours unless otherwise specified by your technician. This allows the treatment to settle and ensures minimal exposure to active ingredients.

Ventilation: Upon re-entry, open windows, and doors to ventilate the treated areas for 15–30 minutes. This helps disperse any residual odor or airborne particles from the treatment process.

Cleaning Precautions: Avoid mopping or wiping treated surfaces for at least 48 hours, as this may reduce the effectiveness of the treatment. When cleaning resumes, focus on areas that were not directly treated, as your technician will advise you on specific cleaning guidelines.

Food Safety: If your kitchen or pantry was treated, thoroughly wipe down any surfaces where food is prepared or served, using a clean, damp cloth. Store all food items and utensils away before treatment and wipe them down afterward as an extra precaution.

Pet and Child Safety: Keep pets and young children away from treated areas for the duration specified by your technician. For outdoor treatments, ensure pets remain indoors for the recommended time or until the treated areas are dry.

Handwashing: After re-entering treated areas, wash your hands thoroughly, especially before eating or handling food.

Ongoing Communication: Your safety is our priority. If you experience any discomfort or concerns post-treatment, please contact us immediately. We are available to answer any questions or provide further guidance.
